JUDGEMENT RECOVERY
A debtor’s voluntary cooperation to satisfy the judgment or a debt, without enforcement action of a debt collector being taken, is always the preferred method of collection.
John can take all steps to obtain and enforce judgments, and can advise on the collection of assets.
FOREIGN DEBT COLLECTION IN CANADA
Foreign debt collection as well as US debt collection in Canada, are areas where John can help you recover the receivable with his expertise. If you are an international creditor and are owed money from a Canadian company, individual or entity, or if you have obtained a judgment in a foreign court, John can help.
BAILIFF SERVICES
If you have obtained a judgment, John may advise on the recovery of the debt and/or property subject to the judgment. A bailiff, duly authorized by the court, may be engaged for that purpose. John can take such steps that are authorized by law to recover any and all assets that may be subject to a given judgment.
EMPLOYMENT LAW
Employment law governs the relationship between an employer and an employee. For employers, John can advise on matters relating to their legal obligations to their employees. For employees, John can offer assistance on dismissal and/or issues arising in the workplace. If a disagreement arises over the terms of employment, then John can assist.

JOHN F. JOHNSON BIOGRAHPY
John F. Johnson is a civil litigation lawyer and debt collector based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has been practicing in the areas of Employment Law, Debt Collection and General Civil/Commercial litigation for almost two decades. Mr. Johnson’s approach is to offer his clients effective quality representation and a realistic appraisal of the merits of a given case. Mr. Johnson has represented many Canadian and foreign clients, both corporations and individuals, in his different areas of practice. In addition to work in the Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court and at the Tribunal level, he has represented clients successfully at the Ontario Court of Appeal. He is also fluently bilingual in French and speaks Spanish conversationally. Mr. Johnson has taught the Civil Litigation course for Law Clerks at Humber College.
EDUCATION
Mr. Johnson obtained his first LL.B. from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the United Kingdom and his second LL.B from the University of New Brunswick. He was also granted an Honours B.A. in History from McGill University. After articling at Soloway Wright in Ottawa, Canada, Mr. Johnson was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1998 and subsequently started his own practice. Mr. Johnson has been a member of the Association des Juristes d’Expression Française de l’Ontario and the “American Society of International Lawyers”.
